Miller’s exclusive ArcReach technology communicates process adjustment commands through the existing weld cables. When paired with compatible ArcReach accessories, operators can conveniently adjust amperage and voltage closer to the weld rather than repeatedly returning to the power source.

• Remote Parameter Adjustment: Control welding amperage and voltage closer to the work area with compatible ArcReach accessories.
• Auto-Process Select: Automatically detects compatible ArcReach accessories and selects the appropriate process based on the connection and polarity.
• Control Panel Lockout: Helps prevent accidental changes at the power source while an ArcReach accessory is controlling welding parameters.
• Cross-Platform Compatibility: Compatible ArcReach accessories can also work with select Miller XMT, Dimension, and PipeWorx 350 FieldPro power sources.
• Reverse Compatibility: ArcReach-equipped power sources can also operate with non-ArcReach accessories, although full ArcReach functionality requires a complete ArcReach system.

The Big Blue 400 Pro supports the ArcReach Heater system for compatible field preheating and bakeout applications. Induction heating allows workpieces to be heated without conventional flame-based heating methods, supporting applications up to approximately 600°F (315°C).
